Q: Where can I find an OS 9 ISO?

I have a titanium PowerBook G4, and I'm looking for a bootable OS 9.2.2 iso to install.  Where can I find one?

PowerBook, Mac OS X (10.4)

    Try Amazon or eBay.

    You won't find an ISO.

9.2.2 is not available as a full install disc for any Mac.  There was a 9.2.1 retail disc, and you can apply the 9.2.2 update for it to optimize Classic performance.

If you only get the 9.0, 9.0.2, 9.0.4 retail, you'll need to apply the 9.1 update before applying the 9.2.1 update and then the 9.2.2 update.

If you only get the 9.1 retail, you'll need the 9.2.1 update then the 9.2.2 update.

If you get the 9.2.1 retail, then you'll need the 9.2.2 update.

Black lettering on the white Mac OS 9 installer with the orange 9 logo will indicate if it is Update, or just full retail, or OEM.

Thanks.  I read your tip, and followed the links, but I still can't find the retail ISO for 9.2.1.
