Q: iPhone 6s hearing problems during phone calls

I have an iPhone 6s, and seem to be having trouble hearing people on the other end of the phone during a regular phone call. Their voice is very faint, barely allowing me to hear what they're saying. Is there a way I can fix this myself or is it a hardware issue which I'll have to take into the Apple store for them to fix?

I understand that you are having difficulty hearing through the receiver while on a call. Here are some troubleshooting steps that I would recommend going through for this issue. Also, make sure that the protective film has been removed as this can cause the issue.

If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound quality is poor on iPhone
