Q: Why is my lock screen to my iPod non responsive? What do I do

i went to slide my lockpad to my iPod to get to my home screen and it didn't work. I tried to restart it but it wouldn't let me slide to turn it off.

i cant figure out why, it wasn't outside or exposed to water, heat, ect.  it just stopped responding to my touch.

    Try:

    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

    - Try another cable

    - Try on another computer

    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
