Is there a way to hold/lock a clip on the timeline?

I have some video that was taken at different points in time but all eventually sync with a single Audio track. It's essentially a Music video. All I want to do is once I get a few clips in sync or just get a few B-roll clips exactly where I want them in the song how can I lock them in the timeline so as I'm still editing other shots the ones I like stay put?
