Restoring Time Machine didn't offer me the 9/21/2015 backup?

Hello.

While I was trying to restore Time Machine's backup from an external USB2 HDD earlier, it prompted me which backup to restore. I wanted the (new/lat)est snapshot from Monday, 9/21/2015, but it only had 9/20/2015 as an option. IIRC, the instructions said it was a base snapshot or something.

Is there a way to always make base snapshots for each new backup Time Machine makes? Also, is there a way to restore the 9/21/2015 data?

Thank you in advance. 🙂

When you enter Time Machine, the 9/21 backup isn't shown? Long shot, but after entering Time Machine, try command - shift - C.

Not enter. Restore in Recovery.

Here is an example online: http://pondini.org/TM/14_files/14d%20Select%20a%20Backup.jpg ... It says full backup. It restored 9/20/2015 instead of 9/21/2015. How can I get 9/21/2015 included as well?
