Is there a compatibility problem between Office 2016 and iCloud

Just confirming that iCloud for Windows does not work with Outlook 2016, which is very disappointing. Apple Support has had my case open over a week and now just does not respond to inquiries about it.

I wasn't aware of any issue with iCloud and Office 2016 UNTIL the Apple update for iCloud vers 5 came through and I was unable to install it.

Hope Apple fixes this soon.
