itunes 12 and IOS 9 playlists and iPad 2....HELP......

With itunes 11, and before I updated to IOS 9 a few days ago, I had playlists on my iPad 2.....After the update to both the IOS and iTunes when I make a playlist it only plays one song OVER and OVER on my iPad according to the list 74 times.......Why did they have to change it.....I can select a song from my play list and it will play it but it plays it over and over.. over and over without playing the WHOLE playlist.....

I went through all the preferences in iTunes to see if I missed something ......and I don't want to go through several hundred songs and mark "up next on the iPad"....

This seriously has me ticked off....I should be able to select my playlist and it should play every song on there in the order I have them...
