Q: iOS 9 phone app freeze

I installed iOS 9.2 beta 4 and it fixed the problem. I suggest you do the same. Or wait a week or so. Hopefully the final will be out by that time.

Thanks Elbert. We removed the sim and reloaded it after switching it off and the problem was solved. We still are facing the issue that the front camera does not work. It shows a blurred image and then goes back to the back camera.

I reset my phone to factory settings and after that I've done what il Santi said. but the problem didn't solve. phone app is still being freeze after some hours..

just assume that you need to call to someone quickly  or you are in emergency ...!!!

Why apple doesn't do any thing about this baaaad bug .....  

"This helped me" star click not working, so I'll just reply that taking out the SIM did indeed help. Deleted call history while it was out. Seems to keep working now that it is back in. Thanks. -Gord

It was the Voicemail app for me. Finally got into it and deleted all the voicemail, works fine now.

My guess is that it would timeout phoning home to my carrier. t-mobile.

Use the Contacts app rather then the phone app.
