Q: I pay with Starbucks on my iPhone, but I can't get it to work on my new watch.

I have an iPhone 6+ with a Starbucks app and that's how I pay at the stores. Yesterday I got an Apple watch, and one of the techs at the store showed me his Starbucks app on his watch and said that's how he pays. So when I paired the watch with my phone, the Starbucks bubble does not work, and Starbucks does not show up in wallet on the watch. My credit card shows up in the watch, and both the credit card and Starbucks shows up on the wallet in my phone.

How can I get them to link better so that I can pay with my watch and not have to dig for my phone?

This definitely helped because now I can see the Starbucks app and how much money I have in it, but it still does not show up in the Wallet/Passbook.

Hello carolcxe,

If I understand correctly you can see the Starbucks app on your Apple Watch but it does't open when you tap it. I would use these troubleshooting steps from the following article to help you get that resolved, named:

Get help with apps on your Apple Watch
If an app won't open or unexpectedly quits in watchOS 2

Try to open the app again after each step:

Place your Apple Watch on its charger, and connect your iPhone to power.

On your iPhone, open the Music app and play a song.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll down to the app that won't open, tap it, and turn Show App on Apple Watch off, then back on. Repeat this step to re-install any apps that won't open.

If you still can't open an app, unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone, then pair again.

These steps worked for me. Don't quite understand why you have to play a song with the music app though. It sounded ridiculous so I tried it without playing a song and it didn't work. Then I played the song and viola! Success!
