Wi-Fi Blanked Out on iOS 9.0.1

I have two iPhone 4s and one iPhone 5 with this issue. Before the update they could connect to Wi-Fi and they worked like a charm, but after the update the Wi-Fi slider is gray and on the tray that you slide up to get to there is no Wi-Fi signal. Anyone have the same problem?

Screenshots can be found here

I have tried resetting the network settings, I have restored the iPhone(s) and I have tried the cooling them down. Nothing has worked and I find it hard to believe that three out of my five iPhones' Wi-Fi chips decided to conk out at the same time.

Hello there!

It sounds like you are unable to turn on Wi-Fi on multiple devices, after updating to the latest version of iOS 9. The following Knowledge Base article offers up additional recommendations if you're still seeing the issue after the reset you performed:

If Wi-Fi is grayed out or dim on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Check if the issue still exists after each step:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.
  2. Tap Settings General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.

If you still need help, contact Apple for support and service options.
