Q: Apps won't Install iPhone 6s / iOS 9/ watch OS 2

Just want to see if anyone else has this issue... I'm setting up Apple Watch. Just bought an iphone6s which was from scrarch

Everything sets up great except no apps will install. They stick on installing on the iPhone watch app and that's it.

If I it turn them off they say uninstalling and then if I fo back they uninstalling with the app off

i don't know what to do here.

Ive tried pairing and unpairing but no apps will load.  I have a feeling it's an issue in the watch app as even after a clean restore some of my settings stay in the app.  But there doesn't seem to be a way to reset or reinstall that

Apple Watch, iOS 9.0.1

    Hi there MikeAbramsNY,

It sounds like some of your apps haven't installed correctly and will not open on your Apple Watch. I would suggest using the following article to help troubleshoot the issue here. Start with the first section about updating the Apple Watch itself, and if needed there is additional troubleshooting toward the bottom:

Get help with apps on your Apple Watch

If you can’t find some of your apps

Update your Apple Watch to watchOS 2. Your apps will automatically appear on your Apple Watch again.

If any of your apps are still missing, open the Watch app on your iPhone. Scroll down to find the app, tap it, then tap Show on Apple Watch.

If an app won't open or unexpectedly quits in watchOS 2

Try to open the app again after each step:

    1. Place your Apple Watch on its charger, and connect your iPhone to power.
    2. On your iPhone, open the Music app and play a song.
    3. Open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll down to the app that won't open, tap it, and turn Show App on Apple Watch off, then back on. Repeat this step to re-install any apps that won't open.

If you still can't open an app, unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone, then pair again.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Same issue. I've followed all those instructions, including unpairing and repairing the watch with the phone. First it was just one app update that wouldn't install (just got stuck saying "installing", and when I'd slide the slider off it gets stuck saying "uninstalling"), but after unpairing and repairing, now it's almost ALL apps that are stuck, so basically the watch is useless except for the standard apple apps.

Every app just says "installing" and won't do anything.

it seems my issues were deeper. I had to start, over. Reinstall all@f my apps from scratch.  Then watch is now ok. Was a horrible experience.  Lost all the settings data and other  items.

reinstall all of your apps on the iPhone, or just on the watch?
