iPhone 6s bluetooth disconnects and reconnects during calls

I am having the same exact problem along with disconnecting and reconnecting while I am streaming music. I also have a 5c that does not disconnect and have not had any problems with it. I previously used a 6 that also did not cause any problems. All devices are on ios 9.0.1.

Same here, and I'm running 9.02. I've done the soft reset to no avail and my wife has a 'similar' issue with her Bluetooth headset dropping the connection. She's on a 5S. Seems to be some inconsistencies and parallels in our probelms.

I Also keep experiencing Bluetooth dropping out on my 6S. It disconnects from my Apple Watch and I muss notifications. It also doesn't stay connected or reconnect promptly to my car key system and this is very inconvenient. My 5S worked fine with these exact two devices so I'm sure it's an issue with the phone. Nit sure if it's just this specific phone that's defective or if it's across this model.

This is happening to me many times during a call as well. It's not just annoying - I miss critical parts of conference calls because of this. Apple - pls issue a fix ASAP!

Just got an iPhone 6s and having the same problem phone call dropped then reconnects seems to be 10min max. My iPhone 5 was perfect. Hope this gets fixed ASAP

We need this fixed promptly. My iPhone 5 worked perfectly with my Audi A7 BT. iPhone 6S with iOS9 drops often. So annoying. C'mon Apple-give us a fix.

I don't suppose anyone has seen any improvement with this. I am experiencing the same thing in my car using iOS 9.2 with my 6s.

Same problem here. IPhone 6 - iOS 9.2.1 - BMW 535.

It has been on/off for quite some time but very very frustrating and unsafe (and illegal in certain states/provinces) as you try to fiddle with the phone to switch it to speaker to bypass BT.

I have the same issue. I thought it was my Plantronics Legend headset but I just bought a new Plantronics Edge and have the same issue, plus have seen it sometimes with my car's Bluetooth. And in hindsight I realize that this started happening when I moved from iPhone 6 Plus to iPhone 6S Plus.

Has anyone had this issue resolved? I am wondering if there are some defective hardware devices.

I read on another thread that turning off the wifi while in the car seems to help. I was hesitant to believe it but I have been trying it for the last 6 days or so and I have had no dropped calls. Coincidence? Possibly but I have had a number of lengthy calls in that time frame while stuck in traffic and have yet to drop a connection, including one from this morning.

Bit clunky to remember to turn off wifi when getting into your car but better than dropping calls.

Anyone else try this workaround?

I have a 6S (9.2.1) connected to a Plantronics Legend and they seem to disconnect with more frequency when I am driving on a major highway with other vehicles around me versus when I am driving on a single lane road. I will try turning off the WIFI, but it would really be nice to get this fixed as I had no issues with my 5S.

Disabling wifi has worked! Good workaround for now.

One year later, still have the same issue and unfortunately no fix from Apple.

Apple, please, we need a fix for 6s.

I am experiencing the very same situation with the iPhone 7Plus and my Plantronics headset. Very annoying.
