MacBook Pro doesn't charge, nothing wrong found when brought to Genius Bar

I have a late 2012 MacBook Pro with Retina Display and over the last few days it has started not charging. No light comes on on the charger, and it doesn't register on my computer as being plugged in. Tried SMC and PRAM resets and ran my own diagnostics. I took it to the Genius Bar, and when it was plugged in there (with both their plug and my plug), it charged. They ran diagnostics and all was perfect - battery, logic board, memory, everything in computer is in great condition. Bring it home, and it doesn't charge again. Doesn't charge at Starbucks either. Brand new cord and I cleaned the little connector ports. Not sure what to do?? Has anyone else experienced this?

The pins all seem to move freely, though the two farthest outer pins are little higher than the 3 in the middle - is this normal? Regardless the charger is brand new out of the box so it shouldn't be the problem. And sadly I've tried the SMC reset a half dozen times and it doesn't do anything 😟 Was able to get it to charge for whatever reason last night. Unplugged it then immediately plugged it back in and no light comes on/doesn't charge again. It's being very picky and I'm not sure why

I do not have a retina MBP so I cannot say with authority. On non-retina MBPs, only the center pin is smaller.

Run an Apple Hardware Test and see if that provides a clue:

Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.

The last resort is a FREE evaluation at an Apple store genius bar.

Ciao.

Upon further inspection all the pins are fine so there's not problem there.

Ran a hardware test and it said there were no problems - when I was at the Genius Bar yesterday they did even more extensive diagnostics and everything is functioning perfectly - he showed me all the levels and explained how normal they were and even complimented me on how well I've taken care of this computer. So it just really is perplexing.

I set up another appointment for Friday, so hopefully they can help me this time
