How to change phone number on mac book pro?

I have changed my mobile number. The messages still appears on Macbook Pro is from my old phone number. I want to change it with new phone number, so any one can help me?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Here are the instructions for making changes to you Apple ID. ( I assume that is what you are dealing with )
