Sep 29, 2015 1:34 AM in response to D.Cohenby frustuatedcustomer,Hi. I have tried all these steps but none of them are helping. Do you have any idea about what is this error related to?? I mean is it some hardware related issue like USB cord or battery or is it related to icloud syncing. Or any thing else? Actually I googled up the first two reasons..but I'm totally confused now. Please help

Oct 5, 2015 9:34 PM in response to frustuatedcustomerby m akber,My iPhone 5S (iOS 8.4.1) was restarting itself, so i decided to upgrade to 9.0.2. during the download phase, it also restarted itself... which probably resulted in the 4005 error
then i found myself with the "connect to itunes" screen and my windows 8.1 unable to identify the device attached. tried entering DFU mode on windows 8.1 but to no avail. my other PC running windows 7 was able to recognize Apple Mobile device (Recovery mode) and now i am trying to upgrade the phone again. also downloading iOS 9.0.2 in parallel to see if i can use it if the upgrade fails again.
fingers crossed.
