iPod Nano cannot be identified by windows 10

Hi,

I've recently updated my laptop to Windows 10 but when I went to sync my iPod (nano, 7th Generation) my laptop said that the device was detected but could not be identified properly. I then unplugged my iPod, and noticed that all of my music had been wiped from it.

I have restarted my laptop, uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and made sure the driver is up to date but nothing is working.

Any solutions?
