I upgraded my iPad and iPhone to 9.0.1 and have no issues with notes syncing to and from iCloud.
I upgraded my MacBook Air to OS X Yosemite 10.5.5 and notes will not sync to or from iCloud.
Any ideas on how to solve this?

If you have upgraded the notes application you won't be able to sync until you instal OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), you will have been advised of this in the upgrade process.

I have upgrade both & on the same iCloud account but still not in sync ?
Notes in OS X won't sync to or from iCloud.
