Q: how do i connect my phone to i tunes

ive just bought an i phone 5c off somone and the phone is displaying an image saying i need to plug my phone into itunes. what do i do??

Use the usb to Lightning cable to connect to your computer.
Open itunes on the computer.
Your iphone will show up as an icon at the top of the tunes window.
Click on the icon to access your phone.

Do you have a USB cable for the iPhone? Should be a USB to Thunderbolt cord. If the iPhone shows that it needs to be plugged into iTunes then plug it into a computer with iTunes.

The iPhone is most likely in Recovery mode: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
