Pairing Bluetooth iOS 9.01
Trying to pair iPod 5G and iPhone 6S both with iOS 9.01. The iPod can see the iPhone but not visa versa. Both devices have had a hard reset.
For what purpose?
You can "pair" the iPod to the iPhone to use the iPhone's internet connection without an app.

Also some game apps support peer-to-peer gaming over BT
Otherwise to meaningfully pair one iOS device for another y need appropriate apps on each device.
