Q: I can't login to iMessage in my computer

Whenever I try to login I receive a message saying: Please check your network connection and try again. I already did the thing where you turn off your computer and login back pressing shift and that didn't work. I also tried by changing my apple id password and nothing. Could someone please help me

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
