Spelling numbers and letters to siri

heres the deal - I work for a transportation company and we use tracking numbers that consist of letters and numbers. I am trying to vocally set reminders with Siri such as "remind me to follow up on tracking # DJE838373" for example but I can't get Siri to spell out the tracking number. Is there any way to do this?

Its hard for me to believe that a powerful program like Siri that can do everything else... Can't do something this simple. Makes it pretty useless in my opinion.

Help?

Sorry should have typed "Tap to Edit".

But more directly to your question, is may have to do with your pronunciations. It may take a Siri a bit to learn how you pronounce some words and phrases.

How do you activate that? That doesn't show as an option on the Siri screen after I've dictated. I guess what bothers me is the fact that I shouldn't have to type it out at all, that's the whole point of Siri is to keep it hands free... So that seems redundant to have to go back and fix it anyways.
