How to get trackpad to work on Total War Windows 8.1

OK.... this is going to be a bit specific.

I have found that Total War Attila will play fine on my Macbook 12' 2015 with bootcamp on Windows 8.1.

But one thing that does not work is the ability to right click select sections of your army and then right click drag where you want that section to go and what angle it faces.

It works with a mouse. Right click select and then right click drag.

But nothing happens when you right click drag except you lose the original right click select.

Anybody?
