Oct 11, 2015 3:36 PM in response to oooliveeeby cclaluna,I'm having the shut off issues. I can't really interpret the diagnostics. I see several items logged about the time it happened. I think it might be my Misfit app.
I have a 6s, 128gb with iOS 9.0.2. It has done it a couple of times, but not overnight that I recall. I don't use it as my alarm, but do go to sleep with music playing and it in the new stand up charger. Luckily, I have only missed a call from the pizza guy trying to get into the apartment complex.

Oct 11, 2015 6:37 PM in response to oooliveeeby Scottbo53,I have a iPhone 6S Plus iOS 9.0.2. Yesterday I took it out of my pocket and it had powered off, I had to do a hard boot (holding down power and home buttons) to get it to turn back on.

Oct 12, 2015 5:43 AM in response to oooliveeeby MorkenTheMonk,Received my iPhone 6s 64Gb only 3 days ago, noticed battery life was a little short of my 5s that it replaced. Took phone out of my pocket today to discover screen was completely black - pressing home key wouldn't bring it back to life, nor would power button. Plugged power cord into computer, still no display. Eventually held down Power + Home keys, and phone kicked back into life with Apple logo, then 41% battery life. Only just put phone in new Folio case this morning ... coincidence?
Anyone got any links to Apple feedback or solutions to this apparently VERY common issue?

Oct 12, 2015 6:25 AM in response to danpomeroyby TheTomeWriter,Exact same issue. Verizon iPhone 6s 64GB received on release day, now on 9.0.2, but crashes hard almost daily. Twice within an hour this morning. Usually overnight, though, ruining my ability to trust it as an alarm clock. I am going to try the 9.1 beta to see if that fixes it as others have claimed in this thread. Most distressing. Never seen a horrible problem like this in an iPhone - loyal user since the iPhone 4.

Oct 12, 2015 7:41 AM in response to Scottbo53by Minus64,In Three days- Three reset - not to bad …….Now I'm going to replace with new one …...

Oct 12, 2015 7:45 AM in response to Minus64by Rulez28,As already said: To my mind a replacement will not fix the problem, because it´s most likely a software bug. Try 9.1 Beta 4 first. I have no crashes since Friday.
I wonder why Apple doesn´t react about this bug. It´s abvious that many people suffer from it.

Oct 12, 2015 7:59 AM in response to macgeraldalexsonby 226ra,I received my 6s on launch day. For those that are really starting to worry about this I wanted to follow up my earlier post by saying that this has only happened to me once. I do not recall what version I was using at the time but it's very likely that one of the recent software updates has fixed the problem.

Oct 12, 2015 8:09 AM in response to oooliveeeby qphayes,I upgraded to beta 9.1 version 4 last week when it came out. Haven't had a problem with it since that upgrade, so hopefully once this becomes an official release it will fix it for everyone. Obviously if it happens again I will let you all know. But I am now over a week without incident.
