iphone 6 charger wire torn off when charged in the car

I have been using this original iphone 6 charger wire for 1 year without any problem at home. Three months ago, I started to use it in my car. Several days later, I noticed the phone end has been torn off. I thought it was just a regular torn off.

Last week, our family had long trip to another city, my husband used his brand new charger wire in his car to charge his phone. This morning, we noticed that exact the same side torn off in the same way.

It looks like the wire shouldn't be used at car power supplier.

Did anyone have the same problem?

How can I charge my phone in the car? Puzzled 😟
