Does your iPhone show as connected?

You need to be very close for thePing to work and to be audible.

If you are not just testing, but need to find the iPhone, and If iPhone is not in range of Apple Watch, try using Find My iPhone from iCloud.com.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. It worked perfectly before the update. Now it won't ping my phone even if it is next to me.

I have contacted Apple support regarding that and they sent me a new watch. Yet the problem persists.

There is no solution at the moment. I was informed that the Apple engineering team is looking at it.
