Why is AppStore wanting to update OS X Lion Server Version 10.7.5 (from September 19, 2012) when my Mac runs OS X Server 5.0.4 (updated/installed just last week) on Yosemite?
What, if any, action should I consider? Is there a way to hide updates, reset AppStore, or force a re-scan for updates?

Thank you for this suggestion for hiding apps as documented in this support article. Unfortunately, there is no "OS X Lion Server" listed in my purchases to hide; there is only "OS X Server" which is the version I am currently running and do wish to continue to receive updates for.
Ditto here. Old unavailable update and using latest version of server too. Kill it with fire if I could.

Has anyone tried to apply the OS X Lion Server 10.7.5 update anyway? It seems plausible that the update will be benign since it will either recognize that the running OS isn't Lion or that newer component versions are already present and therefore skip actually applying changes... Even though I keep good backups I'd hate to have to resort to that. 😊
Yes, I tried to install it anyway but there appears an error message saying that the article is temporarily not available.
And, yet, it remains listed as "1 Update Available" in the App Store?
Submitted bug report 23157000 "Non-Applicable OS X Lion Server 10.7.5 Update" to Apple's Radar system and will update this post with any information from that report.
