Q: Location services showing that i am in one place then another

I live on a college campus and am connected to their wifi. which is all around the campus. my girlfriend can see my location and sometimes it switches my location to about a block away, but i stay on the floor i live on and i hadnt left when she said it happened. what could it be?

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.0.1

Depending on GPS signal strength, your location can be off by quite a bit.

You're letting yourself in for a world of trouble if you let people track your location all the time.
