Server 5: "UNCHECKED" added to email Subject line

Using Yosemite Server App v 5.0.4 to handle email services, among others, on a Mac mini (Late 2014) running OS X Yosemite, v 10.10.5. Everything was working fine until outfitting each user on our LAN with PGPMail. The secure signing and encryption is working well but each email is arriving at its destination with "***UNCHECKED***" inserted into the email's Subject title. This suggests that the encryption process is causing the size of the email to exceed the criteria for the ClamAV virus checker. Is this the likely cause and, if so, how do I fix this?
