Email problems with os 9.0.1

IPAD. Since iOS 9.0.1 update, keep getting "can't get email" and "can't send email". The outgoing will sit in the out box. I have to keep trying to resend it.

It sounds as though there may be an issue with the settings for the email account that you're using on your iPad. This can lead to issues such as being unable to send or receive email.


In such a situation it may help to remove and re-add the account.

  • Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  • Tap the email account.
  • Tap Delete Account.
  • Add your account again.
