only for a few secs. I click the banner when someone texts me, i divert to the messages app and the whole keyboard is white for about 3/4 seconds. Is this normal? I know there's 3D touch and its definatey not that.

I have this issue as well and have posted on the discussion board about it. I have tried nearly everything to resolve the issue including getting rid of secondary keyboards and even doing a complete reset to my phone. The issue still persists. Not sure if it's an OS bug or not but I am going to a Genius Bar in a few days.
