Q: MacBook Retina 15"(base model 1,999 late 2015) and left USB does not work correctly.

I bought a MacBook Retina 15" a month ago and from the start noticed that when I plug my phone into the left USB port it recognizes and loses recognition over and over. Something is clearly wrong, and any help before my scheduled appointment (the end of this week) would be greatly appreciated!
