Q: I've got error code 1671 which doesn't appear among the Apple codes published. My Ipad3 64 gig doesnt appear to charge, when it try's to boot itself up it crashes and shuts down repeatedly. Cant seem too restore either. HELP anyone?

I've tried holding down both buttons, and it gives me the 'iTunes' option to begin a restore. I attempt to restore via the iMac, and process gets going when the iPad shuts itself down again, and iTunes no longer registers the iPad device. has my iPad reached the end of it's life?
