Q: How do I paste text in iCloud Note on PC?

I can no longer paste text in iCloud note on my Windows PC. Cut-and-paster works as expected on my iPhone or iPad.

Why not?  What happens when you try?

Ctrl + V or Right Click -> Paste are the traditional ways.

Paste is a system action. It does change based on App.

I notice that the link address is /www.icloud.com/#notes2 and not just "notes." Right mouse click popup contains "Save Image as, Copy image, Inspect element." Ctl-V seems to work. However I can not Cut text from iCloud note.I get same right mouse click popup.

Two versions of the Notes app are available on iCloud.com. The one you see is determined automatically when you sign in to iCloud.com. You see the updated Notes beta app if you upgraded your iCloud Notes account on an iOS device with iOS 9 beta or a Mac with OS X v10.11 beta. Otherwise, you see the original Notes app on iCloud.com. https://support.apple.com/kb/PH12081?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US

I have upgraded to iOS9 on my iPhone and iPad. The updated Notes app works different than the original iCloud Notes.

Ahh yes, the Right Click seems to have issues with the context for the new Notes App so the Paste option is not presented by the browser.

Its more a contextual issue, as it seems to be picking up the background rather than the editable text region for the note.

The Ctrl+v keyboard shortcut still works normally though.

The Ctrl-C keyboard option works for copy, but not the right mouse click.

Yes. The right click is what's known as a contextual menu.   That means the options change based on context.  As I said above, it seems to be picking up the background, instead of the editable region so the paste option is not shown.

You'll need to stick to the keyboard option unfortunately.
