Outlook smpt error

Since I upgraded my iPhone 5c to IOS9 I am unable to send hotmail.

Whenever I try to send I get an smto error message. I can receive email.

I tried to enter my information again using the settings email

i Select outlook and when I enter ID and password then done I get 3

green checks from verification.

I Have reset my password several times with the same problem

I Do not see any settings for smtp changes.

IS this a problem with IOS9?

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.0.1, It worked before upgrading to IOS9

Hi there Gordon,

It sounds like you are unable to send email using your hotmail account on your iPhone. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article for mail issues on iOS:

Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Restart your iOS device.

Remove the affected email account from your device with these steps:

Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

Tap the email account.

Tap Delete Account.

Add your account again.
