Unlock T-Mobile iPhone 6s

I am trying to buy iPhone 6s at the apple store in Orange County, California. However, I want to use that iPhone 6s in Korea. I looked it up on the online shop, but there wasn't 'sim-free unlocked' iPhone. There was T-mobile pay in full though. Is that iPhone (T-mobile pay in full) unlocked that I can use in Korea with Korean carrier?

Hello Caden.

I had the problem regarding the use of the new iphone 6s abroad US.

I bought from an US apple retail store iPhone 6s Sprint option (not T-Mobile option) and it works perfectly in Romania (Europe) with carrier calls, messages and I can surf on Internet on 4G cellular data. It was paid in full, no contract plan.

Note that the model I bought is iPhone 6s A1688 (it is available at apple store only for Sprint, T-mobile, Verizon options and NOT for AT&T option). This A1688 model is like a "world iPhone", because it is available in many countries around the world, except China and the US AT&T Carrier. For more info please check this link http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ .

Before turning on the iPhone, I replaced the Sprint SIM with my Romanian carrier SIM (in this case, Orange Romania) and activated the phone. As I said it worked perfectly.

Please post here if you succeeded to use iPhone 6S in Korea.
