Forgotten password for Ipad, updated software cannot access through itunes anymore. help?

Hi There, I have forgotten my ipad password as I haven't used it in a few months. I have tried plugging it into my itunes, however I received a message advising me to turn find my iphone off (I cannot turn this off as I have no access to the ipad and my ipad is not showing on my icloud account.

I have ran the latest update on my ipad and my itunes is now asking to allow access, however I cannot do this as my ipad is disabled.

My Ipad is showing on my find my iphone app, however it is sitting as offline.

I need to know how I can remove the password, or reset my ipad so that I can access it.

Could I have some help with this please?
