That video does help open the programs but I'm running to "Out of Memory" errors when running Photoshop/InDesign at the same time. I KNOW that I have plenty of memory. I'm running a brand new MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) which has 16gb ram and am still receiving those errors. These errors never showed up until I upgrade to El Capitan. Ideas?

I have a question about that movie: it looks like a replacement of the up-to-date java with the older java version. Now, I'm still running Yosemite. I had to install Java6 in order to run Photoshop CS5.1. But, Java6 went into a different location on the HD. I've also got Java8, Update 60 for all other uses.

Is in fact, in El Capitan, the latest version of Java being replaced with a deprecated version? That doesn't sound very good. I'm not an expert, but I hope someone explains this to me.

I have my CS6 working fine.

I downloaded the Apple Java for OS X 2015-001 and restarted.

I then opened InDesign first and it bobbed and stopped and I thought it was all over. However, after about 30 secs, the logo appeared and it began its initialisation process which took a couple of minutes. It scared me but suddenly the menus and sidebar appeared and it works just fine. The second time I opened it was the normal speed. All other apps in CS6 are fine as well.

So be patient and when it stops bobbing on the dock don't give up hope. Good luck.

One of the problems I had is my Logitech mouse was causing issues in El Capitan. Logitech doesn't have updated drivers yet. It was causing a lot of problems. The other thing is that El Capital is not letting me run 2 monitors. When I hook up two monitors I keep getting the login screen. I have separate graphic cards for each monitor. I have checked both cards. They both work properly. Its only when I hook up two monitors the the problem of the login screen pops up.

In response to my first initial inquiry about Photoshop not working, it was more than that. It was Photoshop, Aperture, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, my e-mail, all of these things were closing and giving me a new login screen as discussed above. It has something to do with hooking up two monitors.

I am waiting for a response from Apple on this.

I just read a review in the App Store on El Capitan. At least one more person has the same problem. He says El Capitan does not support 2 monitors with separate graphic cards. He was getting the same login screen when 2 monitors are hooked up to separate graphic cards. I mistook this as an Adobe problem because I was trying to use Photoshop and Adobe Bridge on separate screens. It turns out that it does the same thing with any 2 programs when I have 2 monitors hooked up to 2 separate graphic cards. EL CAPITAN IS NOT SUPPORTING 2 MONITORS USING 2 SEPARATE GRAPHIC CARDS.

APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS !!!
