Can't access photos

I recently upgraded my Ipod 5th gen to ios 9.0.2 in hopes of there being a fix to the bug of not being able to access my photos, but i am still unavailable to do so since i upgraded to ios 9. Every time I touch to use the photo app, it crashes within seconds and I can not see, or delete photos by any means on my ipod. I tried to see if I could get into my photos from another app, instagram, imessage, ect. but the result is the app i was using to crash like i was using the regular photo app; so, does anyone know a fix to this? it is really annoying and I would like anyway to fix it. Thank you.

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
