Q: Apple watch goes into endless loop of static screen and apple logo ...
Upgraded to OS2 as soon as it came out ... didn't have a problem until this morning.
The app screen (honeycomb) became extremely slow to move around the apps ... so I did a hard reset.
Once the hard reset happened got a screen full of static flashing for about 10 secs then blank for 10 secs then apple logo 10 secs ... rinse and repeat.
Paired iPHone had no bluetooth connectivity ... I unpaired the apple watch using the iPhone watch app ... this resulted in a request for passcode which didn't allow me to enter in the code. Effectively bricked.
It wasn't dropped, or damaged in any way. I had just done a run with on ... as I've done almost every morning since it came out. After the run I noticed it very slow to respond to the touch.
Wondering how many others have had same situation ... it's effectively bricked for me now ... and as I'm in NZ (no apple stores) can't show apple.
Have a video of the looping restarts with static ... hoping apple will help me fix ...

For replacements under warranty, it can be more convenient to use mail-in service. This potentially saves you two round trips - for example, where there is a wait between the store sending an item for repair and it (or a replacement unit) becoming available for collection.
It is not allowed here to conduct polls, but some other users have reported experiencing the same issue.
