my ipad2 freez and I can not switch it off

same here it killing my ipad since ios 9.

Hi,

since ios9 update installed on my ipad2 I am having multiple problems.

1/ existing games and new games either crash/hang/or reset ipad.

2/ cannot delete apps I don't like as it freezes whiles icons still jiggle, hard rest is required

3/ my emails and web pages are unpredictable, either showing half or no information.

4/ I have updated iTunes, backed up/restored 5 times now. tried to go back to ios8 which worked perfect but cant do it .

I don't want to erase everything and start again from scratch, if so I might as well sell it and not bother any more.

PLEASE DONT UPGRADE ON OLDER IPADS TO IOS9 IT NOT WORTH IT.

I have an older iPad and mine is crashing and freezing regularly now.

Does anyone have more info to share? i.e. What can be done to fix it? Can we expect an Apple upgrade fix?

Will taking it to an Apple store be helpful? Is there a way to go back to ios8?

You can try to force it to restart

Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot. No data will be lost.

For other issues you can look into restoring your iPad. Maybe from backup, or you may need to start over.
