New Spotlight not working on El Capitan
Just updated El Capitan. I find the Spotlight works just as the old one. I tried "weather" and sports evens and it shows nothing.

Still nothing, i don't know why is this.
Not working too.
Same here. (EU region)
Same here. I tried reindexing, deleting permissions and nothing. For reference, I upgraded my Yosemite installation, which was also an upgrade.
it s weird, it worked perfectly in beta !! i ve checked spotlight settings and everything is fine ummm.....
ok sorry i just tried with others cities such as new york or chicago and it works well.. but my little city isn t !!!!
The same. i have to use the village next to mine actually😁 well better than nothing
Didn't work before the beta went public, still not working now after update.
I got the same problem too. Searching for document works fine, but anything needing internet access like weather does simply give a "No Results".
For the non-US users it did not work in Yosemite either: it was never able to search for anything else than local files. No web searches etc.
IMO that is not very useful search tool.
Not working in Spain too. And no web results with 'Bing search' ticked in preference too.
I have the same problem. 😠😠😟
Changing System preferences > Language & Region > Region to Region: United States (Computer) solved this issue for me. Mac App Store update from Yosemite on MBP 13" retina btw.
Not working for me either and that is EU region tried any number of options and just getting back local data on my files
Weather and wiki searches works after this workaround,but...Any news from Apple? It would be really nice to make it work all over the world without any workarounds, wouldn't?
