bootcamp partition not showing up in El Capitan

I just upgraded to OS X El Capitan, however, my windows partition is not showing up either in disk utility or start up menu. I see that my mac partition is still the same size as i left it (500 GB) while its missing the windows partition (250 GB). I followed this

sudo fdisk -e /dev/disk0

setpid 4

flag 4

write

but i get an error when i use the command "write" it says "operation not permitted"

I have a macbook pro mid 2012 with 750 GB HDD

Please help!!!

Please post the output of the following Terminal commands

diskutil list

diskutil cs list

sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

You may run into more issues, because some of the tools do not work on ELC yet.

Boot int Local Recovery (Command+R) and start Utilities -> Terminal and then type

csrutil disable

Boot back into OSX and try to re-install Gdisk package.

well after running testdisk (i followed the instructions form that imgur) I got this.

still haven't try to boot in local recovery, anything else i have to try before closing this?

Press Enter/Return to Continue and you will see a list of recoverable partitions. Please post a screen shot when you see the list.

Scroll down till you find the first MS Data. Is this from a Deeper Search or a Quick Search?

Can you post a new thread with the output of the usual commands and add this screen shot to it? It can get very confusing if two users have the same issue, but the values will be very different.

mhm... I'm just going to delete my partition, I wanted to restore windows since thats were I take notes for college. I have a win 10 back up however it was back in May or so that I made the back up. I'm sorry I wasted your time. I really appreciate your help and the time you took to help me.

If you have not wiped your Windows yet, the last screen shot you have posted has a start value of 876997748, while your GPT ends at 880585423. There should be more MS Data entries if you scroll further. Deeper Search shows much more partition history thanQuick Search and is usually sufficient.
