iPhone 6s not displaying battery percentage correctly

I recently got an iPhone 6s and was playing around on it for a couple of hours but noticed that the battery percentage didn't go down at all. When I plugged it in for the night, it finally showed that instead of being 89%, I was at ~40%. My boyfriend also has an iPhone 6s which was at 4% when he plugged it in at night and was still at 4% when he woke up, but after a restart was at 100%.

Is there a way to fix the battery percentage? I tried turning the "show percentage" toggle off and on in the Settings but it wouldn't even toggle off the percentage icon when I left it for a few minutes. I'd rather not have to restart my phone whenever it's suspiciously high for my usage or when I really need to know how much battery life I have left.

Same issue with my iPhone 6s. It's showing wrong battery percentage. Contact Apple and they swape my phone but no luck. New phone also have same

problem. again went to Apple Store swape again but no luck. Infact they Swape My phone 3 times. Any one with iPhone 6 s must check it. It's easy just

download candy crush game and play untill all ur life finish. Now go to time and change the day open candy crush you will get all of yours life back before

starting game go to time and just on set automatic time. I m sure u will see same prob. and yes if u go to Apple Store they will just swape your phone nothing

else.

i have the same problem, contact apple and they suggest me reset the phone, and after about 4 charge the problem is back again. then they advise me to wipe the phone, which did not help either.

I find that each time I restart the phone, it will work for about 3 to 4 charges, and then I have to restart the phone, I recently updated to IOS 9.1, still did not fix the problem

i have the same problem ,i reset without backup ,but the same thing its happen i need to reboot every time my 6s.no one can tell me this is the hardwere problem or the softwere

I'm using iPhone 5s and I have the same problem. And my phone keeps heating alot. It first started with 8.4.1 update, 9.0 fixed it, came back with 9.1.

Hi, plug in the charging cable while the phone is unlocked... That's been working for me if I plug th cable in while the phone is locked the battery percentage gets stuck.
