I cant use my iphone 6s can someone please help me?

So i before i purchased the iphone 6s i had the 5c and i broke that about 3 weeks ago so as a result I'm unable to see the screen on my 5c. I bought the 6s through my carrier T-mobile and now i can't utilize the phone because i cant get past the "slide to update" screen. I turned on my iphone 6s, typed in my previous icloud, selected a wifi, then i was brought to a screen where it said "your phone is finished updating... couple more steps" blah blah something like that. So it said "slide to update" and i keep sliding but nothing is happening.

Connect your iPhone to your computer. Press and hold the power button and home button until the screen goes black. Keep holding the buttons down until you see the Apple logo. Keep holding the buttons until you see the iTunes logo and a lightning cable. Then in iTunes, it will say it detected a device in recovery mode. Choose update. Then let it update and see what happens.

I should've mentioned that I tried this already. When i initially tried it, itunes kept telling me that it couldnt connect me to an apple server or w.e. I've been phoneless for 3 weeks now I've reached an all time level of depression lol

Hi

The problem may be iPhone was shipped with ios 9.0

It is now ios 9.0.2

This is what i had to do.

If you can Restore iPhone back to Factory Settings

After Restore set iphone up as a new iphone over your WiFi

After that go to settings Software update to 9.0.2

Then set back again to Factory settings

Then set backup over your WiFi & use your software backup

To restore iphone.

This worked for me & my wife we were told to do this

When we got the iPhones 6s last Saturday .
