Q: I lost my ipad and my imessage is attached to it, how can i disable that since im using imessage from my phone

Basically I lost my ipad and I have my imessage attached to that ipad, currently I am recieving my imessages on my new iphone, but I dont have any clue if the lost ipad is able to recieve my messages from my device. I have personal message and I really need to know
