One of the main features of new OSX El Capitan was improvement Spotlight search, but in my case it was not changed since Yosemite.

I'm searched for weather just for example. Spotlight can't do any Web search on my MBP mid 2015.
How can i enable it??
Spotlight is designed to search for items on your MBP, not on the Internet.

In El Capitano Spotlight should search the web as well as the computer.
It works for the weather but not for videos like Apple say it should.
I don't have El Capitan yet to try this out, but even in Yosemite one could search the web to some extent. This was configured in System Preferences, Spotlight.
Settings were enabled. I've tried to set different regions, and all i get a message that spotlight can search internet, apps, movies and etc. but it doesn't
Finally got an answer to the problem, these features are available only in some countries 😟
