Hi,
I just installed El Capitan and the wifi keeps disconnecting every 20 minutes or so.
I get a message I can only accept that says that my wifi is at risk and will disconnect in a minute.
Anyone knows what is the root cause of this? Any settings involved?

I am facing the same problem. My wi-fi connection drop all the time and sometimes the wi-fi is turn off and turn on repeatdly. It is driving me crazy!!!
Same problem here!! It's driving me crazy!! Wifi connection is stable but if I'm downloading any big file, the connection drops several times... Also watching videos in the internet. It disconnects several times. It happens using 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wifi networks. Any idea about how can we fix it?
This is getting more and more annoying. It happens with DropBox or GoogleDrive on or off, with torrent traffic or without it, consuming video in streaming or not. No pattern at all.
can someone post a screen shot? and are you all "torrenting" - is that a common denominator?
No, I thought that was related the first day after instaling El Capitan weeks ago but no. Since then, it happens when some random but demanding activity goes on through the wifi: DropBox sync, streaming video, torrenting, AirDrop files between iMac and Macbook Pro, etc.
I'll post a screen shot as soon as it happens again (it's been like 4-5 times today, sometimes requires rebooting and it's my work laptop...).
I have been having the same issue - particularly when my google drive is uploading multiple files, nothing too large, pdfs and text mostly. It's getting really irritating.

today again happened multiple times, right now when downloading from Apple Music service.
"ThroughTheLookingGlass" is the name of my Wifi.
Message is in catalan but basically says: "It seems that your wireless network is at risk so it will bé disconnected for a minute aproximatedly".
This happens at home (as right now) and also at my office network (different security protocol, different password, etc.).
What is creating those messages? That does not look like a message that the OS would create.
Do you have some kind of anti-virus running?
No, this started just minutes after El Capitan was installed (clean install) on my laptop. No antivirus, no firewalls. I would say I have quite a clean system.
Take a screenshot of the 'At Risk' message and post it here.

No, this alert is triggered by the Wireless device. Sometimes when downloading files (in this case Apple Music), sometimes when watching video streaming, sometimes when using torrent, sometimes when syncing Dropbox.
It seems this happens when there is a strong demand of wireless traffic. When just visiting websites everything seems fine.
Well, I can duplicate this at will. Every time I download with iTunes Apple Music or iTunes Match files the wifi crashes.
