iPad has been updated and asking for a passcode which has never been set up

I Have updated my ipad and it is asking me for a passcode which I have never set up. Please help! Is there a default code?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 9.0.2

There is no default passcode.

Follow the instructions here > iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode
