Oct 29, 2015 10:40 AM in response to jschellerby killers,In my experience as long as I don't use the 2nd monitor at all I don't get logged out. ***** to say the least not being able to use my other monitor and hopefully they fix it soon because it's very irritating when doing development.

Oct 29, 2015 1:23 PM in response to Paul Hodson3by rogalskij,I like so many others have been searching for a fix to this issue. As I mentioned before I have 3 Dell monitors hooked to 2 NVidia Gefore GT 120's. I was getting logged out OFTEN. Just today [10/29/2015] I was notified that there was yet another NVidia driver update. I applied this update, and since the reboot I have gone a whole hour without a single log off. I did all the things that would log it out before (outlook 2016 window, moving inbetween windows, windows remote desktop, etc...) and I still haven't been able to break it. It has only been an hour, but I recommend users download driver update 346.03.03f02 which was released today:
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/93555/en-us
Good luck!

Oct 29, 2015 1:29 PM in response to rogalskijby lllaass,Downloading the new Nvidia drivers now.
I have not had a problem with the previous drivers when Use Separate Spaces not checked.
I have one GT 120 and one PC 5770 card. One monitor on each card.

Oct 29, 2015 2:14 PM in response to lllaassby lllaass,New Nvidia drivers sill result in log-outs with Displays Use Separate Spaces checked. After unchecking the box I did not have time to manually log out; I got automatically logged out.
So far stiil goo with that unchecked

Oct 29, 2015 3:44 PM in response to lllaassby Captain Will,- I confirm that Nvidia 346.03.03f02 does not solve the logout issue with Separate Spaces = ON. (see my test case in former reply)
- These drivers correct the issue with Pixelmatr 3.4 (empty buggy window) and SystemPrefs (User's login picture when zooming in/out). (installed on 10.11.2 beta Dev)

Oct 29, 2015 4:00 PM in response to Paul Hodson3by iPhoton,Since the problem appears specific and limited to systems with more than one display, the obvious work around is to avoid accessing both displays. Unfortunately, that's easier said than done as removing a graphics card is a rather drastic solution, plus the utility of dual displays is lost.
My work around is to screen share from the Mac Pro to my iMac, but select only one display to be shared. The iMac is now the main display, one screen on the Mac Pro takes up less than the full 5K iMac screen and effectively two computer systems are working in tandem.
Because screen sharing is set to only share one screen (it can be set to share either or both screens from the Mac Pro) the cursor can't access the second display, which is when the problems occur, i.e., random log outs. Even if it did, the iMac is unaffected and keeps on trucking.
Still hoping for a more permanent software solution, but when it is proffered my system is ready to test it without the hassle of reinstalling graphics cards ... and removing them if it is a false hope.

Oct 29, 2015 4:24 PM in response to iPhotonby pporzer,Installed Version 10.11.2 Beta (15C27e):
The latest Nvidia driver is NOT compatible with this version, the system uses the built-in drivers.
Logout and system crashes in a 15 - 30 seconds cycle. Distorted screens. OS stalls sometimes and has to be hard-killed and rebooted!
Obviously NO solution and - to call it mildly - a support disaster!
Watch out: if you use Spamsieve, its plugin will be removed by the mail program due to compatibility issues (Mail is now 9.2)
2 GT120 with two 24" Cinema Displays connected via DP, Mac Pro 4,1

Oct 30, 2015 7:25 AM in response to lllaassby Dominick Saponaro,Anyone having issues installing the web drivers? After install the system preference pane won't open and returns an error that says...
"Unable to open the Nvidia driver manager. Please try again or re-install the Nvidia web driver package from the Nvidia website"
I have tried reinstalling etc but nothing.

Oct 30, 2015 7:27 AM in response to lllaassby dvbfilth,It wouldn't let me install the NVIDIA drivers. Set OS was not supported. 10.11.1
The Separate displays tick box seemed to help. But something else is causing maximised windows (specifically Logic Pro X) to behave incorrectly. So back on Yosemite again.

Oct 30, 2015 8:24 AM in response to dvbfilthby lllaass,Since you said "It wouldn't let me install the NVIDIA drivers. Set OS was not supported. 10.11.1" that mean you did not download the latest drivers. Nvidia had to update their drivers for 10.11.1

Oct 30, 2015 9:38 AM in response to Paul Hodson3by hiufromwarsaw,Yes, same issue. Mac Pro early 2009 and El Capitan and it keeps logging me out.
I also have 2 monitors and 2 GT120 cards in my system.
Nvidia card was added by Apple so they should have drivers to El Captain from the beginning.
This is tragedy even Windows 10 doesn't have this kind of problems.
