After Teamviewer install, cant access Snow Leopard mac's shared folders and drives via finder.

I just installed team viewer on My old macbook with snow leopard, which I now use as a media centre and flat surveillance. After installing team viewer, which works has effected the ability to access the shared files and folders over the local network on that computer. Is there a quick fix to this without having to restore the entire system from Time Machine ?

I have tried using the afp://ip.number.of.mac , still no prevail.

The computer I am using to access the computer with Snow Leopard has OSX Mavericks.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
